AIREI, based in Los Angeles, presents a fresh approach to contemporary ready-to-wear fashion. Creative director Drew Curry established the brand in 2021, drawing inspiration from his study of the political and technical history of cotton. This exploration greatly influences the brand's signature deconstructed style, evident in its visibly stitched, pieced-together garments. The name "AIREI," derived from the Greek expression meaning "to cut away," mirrors this aesthetic. The collection features relaxed open knits, asymmetrical quilted vests, and paneled denim, all incorporating raw thread detailing that highlights each garment's underlying components. AIREI challenges traditional tailoring, crafting clothing for those with unconventional tastes.
